On 4th and 5th October, a program “Cao Ly moon night” will take place at Cao Ly mountain, Hoanh Mo commune to inaugurate Autumn – Winter tourism week 2025 and to celebrate the success of the 16th Quang Ninh Provincial Party Congress, 2025–2030 tenure.
The event is a special combination between traditional and modern art, in the context of spectacular and poetic space at Cao Ly peak. It will conclude with exceptional performances such as: Lion dance with ceremonial festival drums, Soong Co singing of the San Chi people, Pa Dung singing of the Dao people, the performance ‘Moonlit Gathering’… with the participation of a slew of singers, local actors and artists from Hoanh Mo commune.
Otherwise, tourists also savour unique folk games, community sports and buying OCOP at Cao Ly night market, along with enjoying highland dishes such as 5-color sticky rice, black duck, diversified cakes…
The event is not only an art cultural performance but also a crucial step aiming to build Hoanh Mo tourism brand, bringing the tourism turn into local economic – social motivation. It is expected to promote distinguished border landscape, typical cultural characteristics of ethnic minorities, showing off the heroic, solid, rich Hoanh Mo land image.
