In 9 days (on 25th January to 2nd February), Quang Ninh welcomed approximately 970.000 tourist arrivals, which increased 21% over the same period of last year. The number of foreign tourists were 230.000, while domestic guests reached around 740.000. The international accommodated tourists were roughly 140.600. The amount of revenue was 2600 billion VND, which ramped up 43% with the same phase of last year.

The provincial spiritual cultural destinations continuously affirmed its values and attracted a large number of visitors, which rose from 6 to 8 times over normal days. In 9 vacation days of Tet holiday, tourists visited the tourist attractions respectively were about 130.000 people in Cua Ong temple (Cam Pha city), roughly 77.000 ones in the Yen Tu special national monument area (Uong Bi city), around 59.000 arrivals in Tran Dynasty relic area (Dong Trieu city).

In addition, famed travel places and amusement complexes also greeted a lot of visitors, which increased 40% to 50% over other days, such as Ha Long Bay welcomed above 62.200 guests, in which international ones reached 45.600 people; Sun World Ha Long Park welcomed around 13.500 travellers; Quang Ninh museum welcomed nearly 5000 tourists… Along with that, the immigrants via Mong Cai international border gate were 25.000 turns. 

With the outcomes of high-increased tourists, lots of large delegations who came to Quang Ninh by land, sea and air right at the first days of the year is a significant beginning of Quang Ninh tourism, which is striving to enhance remarkably with the goal of welcoming 20 million tourist turns in 2025, in which there are 4.5 million foreign guests.
