On March 28, at Ha Long Bay, the Ha Long Bay – Yen Tu World Heritage Management Board, in coordination with Quang Ninh Media, Broadcast and News, held a welcome program and working session with the Gangwon Media Broadcast Agency. The delegation, led by Mr. Jung Dong, conducted surveys, recorded materials, and explored further partnership opportunities to promote the heritage to international audiences.

Leaders of both the Ha Long Bay – Yen Tu World Heritage Management Board and Quang Ninh Media, Broadcasting and News welcomed the delegation and discussed the role of media in enhancing heritage values, as well as shared experiences in developing suitable promotional content for international visitors, especially the Korean market — one of the most important markets for Quang Ninh tourism.

During the journey, the media team departed from Ha Long International Cruise Port, explored the signature routes of Ha Long Bay, and conducted filming at renowned destinations such as Vung Vieng fishing village and Thien Canh Son Cave. Throughout the working process, they experienced the bay’s spectacular landscapes, distinctive ecosystems, and the cultural life of local fishing communities. As a result, they obtained valuable materials to develop authentic and compelling media content.

During the working session, issues related to the management, preservation, and promotion of the World Natural Heritage were discussed in depth. In particular, both sides agreed to further produce media programs and broadcast reports and news about Ha Long Bay on Korean channels. Mr. Mai Vu Tuan, Head of the Yen Tu World Heritage Management Board, also emphasized the application of digital technologies in heritage management and tourism promotion.

Through media products developed from the journey, images of Ha Long Bay are expected to be widely promoted, contributing to strengthening its position on the international tourism map and attracting more international visitors to Quang Ninh.
