Quang Tan is a highland commune that was established based on merging 4 communes including Duc Yen, Quang An, Quang Tan and Quang Lam, with a total area of 185.14 square kilometers. It currently possesses many wild forests, terraced fields, falls and streams. The Quang Tan’s fall system is quite popular with the significant places of Bach Van, Ham Rong, Diep Cay, Tai Cong My… These are remarkable advantages of Quang Tan to grow its ecological and community tourism activities.

A Diep Cay fall is located at Sieng Long village, far from 18A highway around 10km. It lies in the heart of the primeval forest area, at an altitude of about 35 meters. Unlike waterfalls that cascade vertically, this one flows gently, stretching across layers like terraced fields with dozens of unique water steps. At the foot of the waterfall, a lake covers several hundred square meters, with a stable temperature of around 23°C. This is an ideal destination for adventure tourism, boat rides on the lake, or swimming.

Traveling to the Tam Lang village, along with Bach Van and Ham Rong waterfalls, tourists are able to buy agricultural products at Ba Nhat fair, enjoy “soong co” songs of Dao, San Chi and San Diu ethnic minorities and eat traditional delicious dishes. At the weekend, hundreds of visitors come to Tam Lang village to enjoy themselves, helping local people sell their products such as hill chicken, buffalo meat, indigenous pork, as well as traditional dresses, hats, and brocade items.
With these available strengths of developing community and ecology tourism, associated with bringing into play traditions of the local ethnic minorities, Quang Tam always welcome investors nationwide to this locality and strive to become a distinguished destination of Quang Ninh tourism map.
