On 12nd August, Sun Group had a meeting with officials of Quang Ninh province People’s Committee and representatives of related departments, branches and localities on hosting Quang Ninh tourism stimulated strategy in the last 4 months of the year. Mr. Pham Duc An, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee chaired the working session. Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hanh, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee also attended the meeting.

In the framework of the meeting, Sun Group demonstrated a campaign named “Shining Wonder Bay”, featuring a variety of activities and events aimed at stimulating tourism in Ha Long and Quang Ninh. On the one hand, it will deploy a special art firework program on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday every week from 16th August to 31st December, 2025 at Sun Carnival Square. This is a vital activity of the campaign spreading the theme “Ha Long is always sparkle and ready to welcome visitors every time”.

Sun Group also proposed that the Provincial People’s Committee and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism take the lead in organizing music and dance programs combined with fireworks displays; host a food market under the brand “Ha Long Food Tour”; and holding monthly festivals such as: kite festival in September, boat racing festival in October, Christmas and New Year celebration festival in December…

After listening confidential proposals and ideas of Sun Group, Quang Ninh Department of Sport, Culture and Tourism, and other regarded units, Mr. Pham Duc An, Chairman of Quang Ninh province People’s Committee highly appreciated the Quang Ninh tourism stimulated campaign and unique activities proposed by Sun Group. He emphasised that tourism is one of the key development priorities of Quang Ninh province, and the task of developing a modern, professional tourism is an urgent requirement that calls for synchronized, timely, and responsible engagement, along with close coordination from the entire political system, state management agencies, investors, business community and local public. This will help turn Ha Long Bay into a four-season heritage destination, boost the night-time economy, and contribute to making Quang Ninh an international and national tourism hub.
