Quang Ninh Provincial Committee will host an inauguration ceremony of the Yen Tu – Vinh Nghiem – Con Son, Kiep Bac monument complex at 8PM, 18th August, Minh Tam square of Yen Tu relic and monument area, Yen Tu ward, Quang Ninh province. 

It is a national and international-scale event that is held in coordination between Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Bac Ninh provinces and the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism, Affair Ministry, Quang Ninh’s Vietnam Buddha Association. The event includes main activities such as a press conference publishing UNESCO’s outcome with Yen Tu – Vinh Nghiem – Con Son, Kiep Bac monument complex as the World Cultural Heritage, “Yen Tu – The Mediative Hues of autumn“ honor the special Truc Lam Buddha cultural space, an unique art performance that is broadcasting on VTV1 and Quang Ninh’s channels embracing QTV1 and QTV3.  

The announcement ceremony is a tribute to more than 12 years of dedicated efforts in developing and completing the heritage dossier by local authorities, experts, communities, and Buddhist followers. It is also a meaningful event to promote the image of Vietnam’s heritage to the world. The organization of this event is expected to raise public awareness about the preservation and promotion of national cultural heritage values, while also creating momentum for the sustainable development of tourism in the Northeast region of the country.
