On 5th October, at Truc Lam Palace, Yen Tu monument and historic relic area, Yen Tu ward People’s Committee in association with Quang Ninh province’s Vietnam Buddhist Association, Management Board of Yen Tu Historical Relic and Scenic Area, and Tung Lam Development JSC solemnly organized the opening ceremony of the Yen Tu Autumn Festival 2025 under the theme “Meditative Autumn Colors.” Attending the event were Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Head of the Provincial Delegation of the National Assembly Deputies, along with leaders of agencies, units, localities, enterprises, as well as a large number of monks, Buddhists, residents, and visitors in the province.
The festival is held on the sidelines of Yen Tu – Vinh Nghiem – Con Son relic complex, recognized as a world cultural heritage by UNESCO. This is also a practical activity to celebrate the successful 16th Party Congress of Quang Ninh province and to look forward to the 14th National Party Congress.
During the ceremony, delegates and visitors saluted a variety of impressive and captivating artistic performances imbued with traditional cultural identity. At the event, Yen Tu Ward launched a literature–art–media composition contest about Yen Tu; introduced a digital tourism product – VR360 of Yen Tu relic complex, Hang Son temple and pagoda, held a ceremony praying for national peace and prosperity and an offering ritual in commemoration of ancestors.
In addition, participants admired photography and painting exhibitions about Yen Tu, joined traditional folk games, experienced vegetarian cuisine, and explored the Dao Thanh Y cultural space. The Yen Tu Autumn Festival 2025 will take place from now until the end of December 2025, featuring a series of fascinating cultural, sports, and tourism activities.
