On Oct 25th, Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee sent a dispatch to Ha Long Bay Management Board, asking to cancel the hike in entrance fees to Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay.

Accordingly, in order to stimulate tourism demand in winter, Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee requires Ha Long Bay Management Board to postpone the process of submitting authorities the plan of adjusting entrance fees to Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay, and continue propagandizing and advertising tourist attractions as well as improving the quality of tourism products.

Earlier, on Oct 22nd 2019, Ha Long Bay Management Board sent the draft on entrance fee adjustment to travel agencies and tourism establishments to gather opinions.
