Co To is an archipelago located in the northeast of Quang Ninh province, has an important spot in the national defense and security field. Besides the beautiful natural landscapes, Co To also has an extremely sacred temple and it has become the pride of the people on the island, that is the Uncle Ho temple in the Ho Chi Minh monument relic. The Uncle Ho monument majestically overlooking the East Sea as affirmed a truth, this land is part of Vietnam and will not any hostile forces can infringing the territorial sovereignty of our Country. The Uncle Ho monument on Co To Island is the only monument which was agreed to built by Ho Chi Minh President when he is alive. The Ho Chi Minh President monument was made from granite stone and to this day, it is still the largest Uncle Ho monument in the Northeast of the country. Along with Uncle Ho’s monument, in 2005, Co To district built the temple of Uncle Ho after the monument. There is also a building of historical value, a lotus lake and a green campus.
