Cua Ong temple is a characteristic destination of Quang Ninh province that attracts a large number of locals and tourists each year and early spring occasions. According to the plan, the Cua Ong temple festival will be hosted on March 19 to March 22, 2026 (ig 1st–4th day of the 2nd lunar month, Lunar New Year).

The ceremonial part includes activities such as opening ritual, incense offering, procession of Duc Ong and guardian deities. The main grand procession will take place on March 21, featuring a land parade alongside a beautifully decorated fleet of boats parading on the sea. The festive yard will be a place to organize the opening ceremony and a lot of attractive and vibrant artistic performances including drum performance and dance “Spirit of the Tran Dynasty,” and the ritual reenactment “Sacred Traces. After that they will take Duc Ong and gods back to the temple and make a thanksgiving ceremony.

In addition, one of the most eye-catching attractions of the festival is a festival with popular activities that are held on March 21 and March 22, 2026 at festival grounds, martyrs’ memorial area, and Baza Lake.
