On May 17, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh, Vice Chairwoman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee, chaired a working session with a famtrip delegation from the Khanh Hoa Tourism Association to survey and develop tourism products connecting Russian tourists to Quang Ninh.

At the meeting, the famtrip delegation was introduced to the tourism potential, outstanding advantages, synchronized infrastructure system, and distinctive tourism products of Quang Ninh. During the three-day survey trip from May 15 to 17, the delegation experienced several outstanding tourism products and destinations across the province.

Through the field survey, Khanh Hoa tourism association and Anex Tourism and Trade Co.,Ltd highly appreciated the quality of tourism products and services, as well as the attractiveness of Quang Ninh as a destination. They also noted that many of Quang Ninh’s tourism offerings are well suited to the preferences of tourists from Russia and CIS countries, especially coastal and island resort tourism, nature-based experiences, and cultural tourism.

Representatives of the famtrip delegation also suggested that Quang Ninh continue to support tourism promotion activities, enhance destination connectivity through air routes, and strengthen cooperation among tourism enterprises to effectively attract visitors from this promising market in the future.

Speaking at the working session, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh expressed her hope that the Khanh Hoa Tourism Association and related enterprises would strengthen connections with tourism businesses in Quang Ninh to further promote the destination and attract more Russian visitors to the province.

Previously, the Quang Ninh Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Agency, in coordination with the provincial Tourism Association, signed a cooperation program to promote the Russian tourism market. Under the agreement, both sides will cooperate in implementing tourism promotion activities for Quang Ninh in the Russian market, while strengthening connections with travel agencies, airlines and international tourism partners in order to attract more Russian tourists to Quang Ninh in the coming time.

Quang Ninh Province is committed to accompanying and creating favorable conditions for businesses and partners in the process of developing the Russian tourist market. At the same time, the province will focus on training Russian-speaking tourism human resources, developing distinctive tourism products tailored to visitors’ demands, and strengthening communication and promotional activities, aiming to position Quang Ninh as an attractive and impressive destination for Russian tourists in the coming time.

This program aims to concretize the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the Quang Ninh Tourism Association and the Khanh Hoa Tourism Association, with a focus on tapping into the Russian tourist market through the linked tour program “One Journey – Two Destinations: Khanh Hoa and Quang Ninh.”
