On 26th February, 2025, Quang Ninh province adopted a resolution on repairing, adding some things of visiting fees and charges with 3 Ha Long Bay tours for tourists, who visit on cruise but do not stay at night. In which, there were 2 novel journeys and a journey which took into operation but applied fees yet.

Specifically, new additional fees was presented such as Ha Long Bay 6 journey (new one): Cruise port – Chan Voi islet – Ba Cua cave – Tung Lam island – Cap Bai islet (the last destination borders with Gia Lan, Lan Ha bay, Hai Phong) or reverse, with the fee is 150.000 VND per person. 

With a journey of Ha Long Bay 7 (new one), visitors will visit following to Ha Long 1, 2, 3, and 4 routes with the fee is 600.000 VND per person, which is the highest fee for tourists, who do not stay at night. 

Ha Long Bay 8 journey (served): Tuan Chau cruise port – Ha Long international cruise port – Nam Cau Trang area with a fee of 70.000 VND per person. This was a journey that moved across Ha Long city’s coast, served tourists on restaurant boats but did not have an application fee yet.

New charges will have its validity from 1st May, 2025. The remaining routes retain fees. 

According to the statistic in 2024, total visiting fee revenue reached 973.68 billion VND.
