In 2025, Quang Ninh province will hold 24 provincial, national and international scale events and around 150 local scale programs to grab tourist’ attention.

There will be significant events such as Carnaval Ha Long 2025 (expected to take place on 30th April or 1st May), World Vietnam Marine Miss Contest 2025 on May or June, “heritage legend” art performance. In particular, Art for Climate Festival – Halong 2025 is organized in Ha Long city by the Ministry of Rural and Environment, which will have 20 activities divided into 3 phases from February to June.

Specifically, Quang Ninh tourism industry is going to continuously hold a lot of tourism, sport, cultural events and programs in the 2nd and early of 3rd quarter, 2025 like yacht race festival, balloon, parachute or kite festivals, OCOP fair… On that occasion there are many holiday and celebration days so that the domestic guest market is extremely vibrantly promised. The number of visitors is likely to increase remarkably, focusing on May and June in the localities, which have their strengths of island sea tourism such as Ha Long, Van Don, Co To, Mong Cai.

Besides, the regions also hold diversified traditional sport competitions of boat race, Chinese chess… or the festivals associated with typical regional cultural characteristics to create highlights, meeting the demands of various kinds of travellers.

To attract the foreign tourist market, Quang Ninh province promises to push strongly promotion programs abroad; working and signing the cooperation with prestigious travel agencies; welcoming delegations of travel, international press to survey and propagate Quang Ninh travel… In conclusion, striving to complete a goal of welcoming about 20 million tourist arrivals, in which foreign guests are 4.5 million people, as well as tourism income reaching 55.000 billion VND and contributing positively to joint enhancement of the province.
