On 30th April, Pacific World of Peach Boat (Japan) is expected to carry 1600 tourists arriving in Quang Ninh province. Ha Long International Cruise Port will be the first one as the ship dock after it departs from Japan.

This is also the first time Quang Ninh province welcomes a charter cruise ship from Japan to Ha Long city, which is hoped to open an impetus opportunity for the boat tourism routes connecting Japan’s ports to Quang Ninh. Quang Ninh made a plan to organize a welcoming ceremony with the traditional activities such as dragon dance, flower gifting to show its friendly and hospitality of the destination.

In the past few years, Japan was defined as one of the crucial international markets of Quang Ninh tourism. A lot of stimulating, promoting, visitors-exchange activities have been implemented, however the number of Japanese tourists to Quang Ninh are currently less than both side’s tourism development potentials and cooperative chances. From 2023 to this time, Quang Ninh welcomed 47.800 Japanese tourist arrivals.
