On 22nd and 23rd March, Cherry Blossom festival – Ky Thuong 2025 took place at Ky Thuong commune, Ha Long city. The event was held for the first time and was expected to utilize strengths of landscape, cultural tourism of Ky Thuong and other highland communes of Ha Long city in the future. 

The festival’s main highlights are visiting and cherry blossom – display activities. According to a representative of Agrico Technology JSC, currently there are around 100 cherry blossom trees planted and growing positively at Khe Tre village, Ky Thuong commune. To develop the tourism associated with using sceneries, Ha Long city adopted two detailed plans as the total area expected to plant landscape forest and cherry blossom at Ky Thuong commune is 30.6 hectares. 

In the framework of the festival, there are fascinating activities such as displaying and selling OCOP, agricultural products of residents and enterprises of the city; launching an art of embroidering traditional custom patterns, experiencing Kimono clothes and cultural – sport exchange activities like pushing sticks, jumping stalls, shooting crossbows…
