This morning (March 29), at Ao Tien Port in Van Don District, Quang Ninh Province, a ceremony was held to launch new tourism routes for exploring the breathtaking Bai Tu Long Bay.
The event was attended by Mr. Pham Van Thuy, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration, Mr. Pham Duc An, Chairman of Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hanh, Vice Chairwoman of Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee, along with representatives from local authorities, departments, the Quang Ninh Tourism Association, travel agencies, and media outlets from both within and outside the province.

Bai Tu Long Bay, with its stunning natural beauty and majestic landscapes, offers immense potential for tourism, rivaling the famous Ha Long Bay. The bay is an ideal destination for those seeking unique, unspoiled experiences and an adventure off the beaten path.
According to the Van Don District People’s Committee, in order to tap into the full potential of Bai Tu Long Bay, the district has worked closely with relevant departments to conduct surveys and design new tourism routes. These plans are set to be submitted for approval by the Provincial People’s Committee in 2024, with the aim of promoting the bay’s unique attractions and boosting local tourism development.

The launch of the Bai Tu Long Bay tourism routes is expected to open up new development opportunities, attracting more tourists and contributing to the goal of welcoming 20 million visitors in 2025.
