On 29th March, after publishing visiting routes on Bai Tu Long Bay, Quang Ninh province organized the Bai Tu Long Bay tourism development conference 2025. Attending the conference were Ms. Nguyen Thi Hanh, Vice Chairwoman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Pham Van Thuy, Deputy Director General of the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism; Mr. Nguyen Viet Dung, Director of the Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism; along with representatives from various provincial departments, agencies, and local authorities. The conference also welcomed nearly 200 delegates, including representatives from tourism and travel businesses, as well as media and press agencies from both within and outside the province. 

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Viet Dung, Director of Quang Ninh Department of Sport, Culture and Tourism claimed that after years, Quang Ninh tourism space currently wild connected to island, border routes and 4 local hub travel centers, ensuring its sustainablity with typical products. On the one hand, Bai Tu Long Bay was considered as a crucial destination with spectacular rocky island system, wild beaches and recognized as ASEAN Heritage Garden in 2017 by ASEAN biological diversify Center. In addition, it is possessing full of chances to grow tourism such as syncronized transportation system on road, air and sea; a lot of accommodation with great resort complexes. It also has different values with Ha Long Bay as resident are living on the islands, where tourists are able to experience local’s life; some islets own beautiful beaches with many reefs that are cabaple of buidling natural preservation areas, ecological parks serving travel and resort.

At the conference, representatives from the leadership of Vân Đồn District and Bai Tu Long National Park introduced the potential, strengths, key tourist attractions, and tourism products of Bai Tu Long Bay and Bai Tu Long National Park.

The conference also facilitated discussions and gathered feedback from government agencies, the tourism business community, and relevant organizations and individuals to optimize the development and promotion of tourism in Bai Tu Long Bay.

As part of the conference, the Quang Ninh Tourism Association signed a cooperation agreement with the Hanoi Travel Association.
