On March 7, a special artistic performance with the theme “Sacred Yen Tu – A Millennium of Valor” was held at Yen Tu Trinh pagoda (Yen Tu ward, Quang Ninh province) with the participation of a large number of delegates, local residents and visitors nationwide. The event took place in the sacred atmosphere of the Yen Tu heritage land, and was considered as the meaningful cultural activity honoring historic, cultural and spiritual values of Yen Tu, the birthplace of Truc Lam Zen Sect founded by Tran Nhan Tong Emperor.

The program was sophisticatedly staged with many exceptional performances. It took the sacred symbol of Yen Tu as its core theme, recreating the journey of religious practice and enlightenment while spreading the Buddhist philosophy of Tran Nhan Tong. Through artistic language that combined music, stage design, and performance, the program vividly depicted the harmonious connection between Buddhist philosophy and real life, the unity of the Buddhist spirit and patriotism, thereby highlighting the spiritual values of the Truc Lam Zen Sect in the nation’s history.

The event also contributed to promoting the image of Yen Tu – a sacred land associated with Vietnamese Buddhism and a remarkable cultural and spiritual destination of Quang Ninh province. It also affirmed the outstanding value of the Yen Tu Complex of monuments and relics in the spiritual life of Vietnamese people, as well as in the province’s cultural and spiritual development.
