Khe Van waterfall is gradually becoming known by many tourists because of its uninhabited and spectacular beauty.

From the town hub, visitors are able to easily visit the place by their motorbike or car. As they arrive in the headquarter of Huc Dong commune People’s Committee, tourists continuously go to a small road about 3 kilometers to the stopping point of Khe Van village. From here they have to walk in approximately 15 minutes to Khe Van waterfall’s foot.

After a short path filled with lush greenery and the scent of the mountains, Khe Van Waterfall emerges majestically, standing about 100 meters tall and cascading down in three distinct tiers. Each tier showcases its own unique beauty, harmoniously blending the wild power and serene charm of nature.

From the town hub, visitors are able to easily visit the place by their motorbike or car.

At the first waterfall tier where a stream strongly pours from a standing cliff, creating a super large lake below. The green pure water reflected sky color and forest’s trees, while the waterfall cascades in a flurry of white foam across the open space, creating a magical and poetic scene.

At the second tier, the stream splits into two separate flows—known as the small and large falls. This division intensifies the current, eroding the rock formations and carving them into fascinating shapes. The powerful streams cascade like soft white silk ribbons draped over rugged boulders.

The final tier of the waterfall sits atop a large rocky outcrop in the middle of the stream, where the water gushes down over a boulder shaped like a resting elephant. Surrounding it are thousands of rocks, large and small, stacked seemingly at random in perfect harmony. This tier is also the most popular among visitors due to its striking and awe-inspiring loveliness.

In the summer, under the scorching sun of the highlands, immersing yourself in the cool, refreshing waters at the base of the waterfall is an unmissable experience.

In the summer, under the scorching sun of the highlands, immersing yourself in the cool, refreshing waters of the pool at the base of the waterfall is an unmissable experience. The sound of cascading water, birdsong, and the gentle murmur of the stream blend into a soothing symphony of nature, offering a sense of spiritual cleansing after long, hectic days.

Khe Van Waterfall is not only an ideal destination for nature exploration but also a place that preserves the rich cultural heritage of the San Chi ethnic community. Every year in the third lunar month, the locals hold a traditional festival featuring the soft and soulful melodies of Soóng Cọ folk songs. In the echoes of these traditional tunes, one can feel a deep love for the homeland, romantic affection, and a strong sense of ethnic pride flowing through every verse and melody.
