On 29th June, around 500 athletes took part in the running competition “United in Determination – For a Drug-Free Community“ at 30-10 square, Ha Long city. The event was held by Quang Ninh Provincial’s Committee in coordination with the Police Ministry. 

The contest took place in the Tran Quoc Nghien road and responded to the action month for Drug Prevention and Control aims to spread the message of a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. The event attracted a large number of officers and soldiers, youth union members, local residents, as well as both professional and amateur athletes competing enthusiastically.

At the end of the race, the Organizing Committee presented awards to top-performing athletes in the 5km category: First Prize (3 million VND each), Second Prize (2 million VND each), and Third Prize (1 million VND each). For the 10km category, First Prize winners received 5 million VND, Second Prize winners 4 million VND, and Third Prize winners 3 million VND.

The race not only promoted a positive lifestyle and raised awareness about the dangers of drugs but also strengthened the bond between the police force and the community in the fight against crime and social evils.
