On 16th January, Quang Ninh Tourism Association held an anniversary of its establishment 20 years (2004-2024). In August 2004, Quang Ninh was one the first locals in Vietnam to establish the provincial Tourism Association. In the past 2 centuries, the number of members rose from 54 in the first days to 850 currently belonging to 11 branches and clubs.
Quang Ninh Tourism Association solidarity overcame a lot of challenges of economic displacement, disease, and disaster via steadily becoming a vital connecting bridge between member enterprises and local administration. On the one hand, it proactively proposed supporting and travel-developed policies.
Until now, Quang Ninh is a leading province of the country in growing tourism with over 2246 accommodations and 44.800 rooms; 504 cruises in which there are 177 boats having stayed rooms on Ha Long Bay. Currently, it has 170 travel agencies and branches, including 70 international ones businessing in Quang Ninh.
In recent years, Quang Ninh’s tourism enterprises always bid to direct further achievements. Their travel products step by step are diversified and appealing to bear Quang Ninh to central tourism nationwide. The promotion activities were robustly pushed with the proactive and positive participation of the provincial Tourism Association and member businesses, which helped to attract a large number of tourists to Quang Ninh.
These gained outlets are a stable foundation of Quang Ninh Tourism Association to continuously keep their role as reliable mainstay of new members, contributing to take Quang Ninh tourism to strong growing steps. In the fresh development phase, it will unstoppable renew its activities, strongly foster a connection of building travel civilization, develop sustainably the tourism and create sequences of value that turn travel into heading economic industry, make Quang Ninh becoming a tourism hub connecting the region and the world.
