On August 8-9, 2026, the Duong Hoa Tea Festival 2026 will be held at the tea fields in Duong Hoa Cuong village, Duong Hoa commune, under the theme: “Duong Hoa Tea – Nurtured by the forest, enriched by the sea.” The festival aims to honor the cultural and historical values of the Duong Hoa Tea brand, promote the area’s potential for community-based and experiential tourism, and showcase OCOP products and local specialties to residents and visitors alike. 

A highlight of the festival is the opening ceremony, which will include the announcement and presentation of the certificate recognizing the Duong Hoa tea tree as a Vietnam Heritage Tea Tree, along with the “Genesis” ritual and a special art performance showcasing the unique cultural identity of the Duong Hoa tea-growing region.

Throughout the festival, visitors can enjoy a wide range of cultural, sporting and experiential activities, including the “Duong Hoa Tea Beauty” contest, the “Beautiful Photos of the Duong Hoa Tea region” competition, a mass folk dance performance featuring more than 200 women on the stage and tea hills, as well as exhibition spaces showcasing Duong Hoa Tea, OCOP products and local cuisine.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to join the experiential tour “A Day with the Tea Farmers”, take photos at complimentary photo spots across the tea hills, participate in tea-picking and tea-processing competitions, and enjoy a variety of cultural and sporting activities, including a marathon around the tea hills, an air volleyball tournament featuring clubs from the Eastern region, a cultural exchange program combined with a fashion showcase by contestants of the “Duong Hoa Tea Beauty” contest, and folk dance performances by clubs from both within and outside the commune. 

The festival will conclude with a closing ceremony and an awards presentation honoring the outstanding individuals and teams participating in the festival’s competitions and activities. With its diverse program of events, rich cultural traditions, and the picturesque setting of lush tea hills, the Duong Hoa Tea Festival 2026 promises to offer residents and visitors an unforgettable experience. The festival is expected to further promote the image of the Duong Hoa tea-growing region, boost local tourism, and enhance the value and reputation of the Duong Hoa Tea brand.
