On 16th October, around 1000 MICE Chinese tourists arrived in Ha Long Bay to begin their journey. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Son, Deputy Director of Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism welcomed and presented flowers to the visitors.

Two days ago, they entered Vietnam by the Mong Cai international border gate to commence their 5 days 4 nights tour at Quang Ninh. They are arranged to stay at FLC Ha Long hotel (Ha Long ward) and play golf, hold entertaining events and visit famous tourist areas of Sun World Ha Long complex, Ha Long Bay…

With the Quang Ninh province’s hospitality welcomed, the delegation expressed their joy and excitement, along with that they were highly impressed with extraordinary natural landscapes, high-class service qualities and synchronical and modern infrastructure here. 

In recent years, MICE delegations, in particular Chinese visitors, were increasingly taken to Quang Ninh by domestic and international travel agencies, opening a fresh potential of drawing tourists. Otherwise, the Chinese tourism market is estimated to take around 40 percent of Quang Ninh’s international accommodation guests total.

In the last months of 2025, there will be roughly from 350.000 to 400.000 Chinese guests arriving in Quang Ninh. For which the majority of delegations has the amount of about 1000 or 2000 visitors, who will enjoy 3 days – 2 nights or 4 days – 3 nights tours and using high-quality services, staying at 4 and 5 stars.
