On April 16 and 17, Cai Chien Island Commune welcomed a famtrip delegation of around 40 travel agencies from Northern Vietnam to survey, experience, and assess its tourism development potential.

As a result, the tourism enterprises highly appreciated the resort for its accessibility, tranquility, peaceful atmosphere, and close connection with nature, along with its orientation toward sustainable development.

In addition, the delegation explored and experienced Cai Chien Island’s signature tourism offerings, including scenic landscape exploration, the “One Day as a Fisherman” experience, night squid fishing, snail catching, and discovering coastal casuarina forests.

In 2026, Cai Chien Island Commune aims to welcome around 170,000 visitors, with tourism revenue expected to reach approximately VND 350 billion. The commune is focusing on upgrading transport infrastructure, developing experiential tourism products, and promoting cultural and artistic tourism, while ensuring service quality and a healthy tourism business environment.

The trip also created opportunities for both sides to meet, exchange ideas, explore cooperation, and strengthen tour linkages between Cai Chien and other destinations nationwide.

Through these on-site survey activities, travel agencies had the opportunity to gain deeper insights into local tourism resources, products, and services. This serves as a foundation for designing suitable and attractive tour programs for different market segments. The trip also created opportunities for both sides to meet, exchange ideas, explore cooperation, and strengthen tour linkages between Cai Chien and other destinations nationwide.
