With the intention of unstoppable renewal of form, content and affirming Carnaval Ha Long brand, this year the event is going to have many new interesting highlights over the past few years. 

The Carnaval 2025 program will be one of the most special events belonging to the activities of Ha Long summer tourism week 2025. It will take place at 8PM on 1st May, 2025 at Bai Chay ward with the participation of thousands of professional actors and artists, international art delegations and artisans. With the theme “Carnaval Ha Long 2025 – Heritage connection, shining pioneer”, it will include 4 parts: An opening ceremony, Carnaval Ha Long great dance, DJ performance and high art firework.

The event’s stage will recreate the exquisite beauty of Ha Long Bay, combining traditional art and modern technology. At the heart of the stage, there will be a spectacular rocky mountain signal, surrounded by light effects and unique art models that show interference of culture and nature. The space honors Quang Ninh as a lively heritage, which is a convergence of quintessence and the world heritage and wonder.

For the first time ever, the Ha Long Carnaval will bring together intangible cultural heritages from across Vietnam’s three regions, celebrating national identity against the backdrop of a world natural wonder. Each performance and festive color tells a story of heritage, creating a concept of “heritage within heritage.” The program will showcase UNESCO-recognized intangible cultural heritages such as Then singing from Binh Lieu, Royal Court Music, Gong culture of the Central Highlands, the Mountain Goddess ritual performance, and Don ca tai tu (Southern amateur music), among others.

The festival will have an exciting paradise as tourists are likely to join with 5 model cars, emerging themselves in the biggest open stage of Quang Ninh and enjoying vibrant DJ melodies or full-emotional performances. In addition, it also uses the most modern and advanced technologies while the program’s performances and scenes will be presented by modern art, high-quality mapping, laser and technique effects that create a world-class festive space. 

Carnaval 2025’s stand is the greatest-designed one ever with total seats are 15.000 to serve locals and travellers (mount 5000 seats over the last year). To serve the best for people, Ha Long city also set up big LED screens to directly televise.
