The People’s Committee of Quang Ninh Province plans to host a special performance to celebrate Quang Ninh’s transition to a centrally governed city, the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution, and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam. This is a significant political event, marking a historic milestone in Quang Ninh’s development as it becomes a centrally governed city.

With the theme “Quang Ninh – A Bright City for the Future”, the event will be held at 8:10 p.m. on August 28 at 30/10 Square and along Tran Quoc Nghien coastal road in Ha Long and Hong Gai wards.

The large-scale event is expected to attract around 100,000 delegates, residents, and visitors. Of these, approximately 50,000 people are expected to attend the event at 30/10 Square, while the remaining 50,000 will gather along roads connecting to the square, creating a vibrant and spectacular festive atmosphere. 

In addition to the live audience, the program will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television (VTV), including VTV8 and VTV9, as well as on the VTVgo digital platform. It will also be livestreamed on the digital platforms of Quang Ninh Media. Furthermore, the event will be screened on LED displays across localities throughout the province, allowing residents and visitors to join the celebration and experience the festive atmosphere.

As one of the highlights of the series of activities celebrating Quang Ninh’s transition to a centrally governed city, the event is going to foster public pride in the province’s remarkable development achievements while promoting the image of Quang Ninh as a dynamic, modern, and internationally integrated city.
