On May 9–10, Luc Hon Commune organized an experiential trekking program to Cao Xiem peak to survey and develop model tourism products while promoting the area’s eco-tourism and adventure tourism potential.

Known as the “roof of Binh Lieu,” Cao Xiem Peak stands at nearly 1,500 meters above sea level. With its majestic mountain landscapes, pristine forests, and challenging trekking routes, the destination is increasingly attracting visitors who seek nature exploration and outdoor adventure experiences.

The program welcomed travel agencies, tourism clubs, trekking groups, and numerous visitors from both inside and outside the province. During the journey, participants trekked through natural forests, grassy hillsides, and scenic viewpoints before reaching the summit of Cao Xiem, where breathtaking panoramic views of the mountainous border region of Binh Lieu unfold.

Beyond offering outdoor and nature-based experiences, the event also contributes to promoting Binh Lieu tourism in a green, sustainable direction closely connected with local cultural identity. The program serves as an important step toward developing professional trekking tourism products and positioning Cao Xiem as a distinctive experiential destination on Quang Ninh’s tourism map.

Through this initiative, Luc Hon Commune aims to strengthen cooperation with travel businesses, develop suitable tour programs, and further promote community-based tourism, thereby creating sustainable livelihoods and increasing income opportunities for local residents.
