On 12nd May, Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism worked with Department of Performing Arts (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) to discuss on planning to organize the International Puppetry and Circus Festival 2025.

As expected, the Puppetry event will take place in September and October, the Circus festival will be held in November and December. Both sides exchanged organization, logistics, employee schedules and surveyed places where they host the events.

Hosting the two international festivals presents an opportunity for Quang Ninh to promote its image, attract tourists, and make a mark in the development of the cultural industry, contributing to the goal of welcoming 20 million visitors and achieving 14% economic growth in 2025.
