On July 9, the Vietnam Tourism Association, in coordination with the People’s Committee of Ninh Binh province, hosted the VITA Awards 2026, the annual national tourism awards organized by the Vietnam Tourism Association (VITA). The event was held to commemorate the 66th anniversary of Vietnam’s tourism sector. Quang Ninh province was honored to have four tourism brands receive awards at the ceremony.

In the category “Most beloved luxury cruise”, three cruise operators on Ha Long Bay were honored: Viet Thuan Transportation Co., Ltd. for its Grand Pioneers Halong Bay Cruise; Quang Ninh Service and Trade Co., Ltd. for its Quang Ninh Cruises fleet; and the Quang Ninh Branch of Hai Phong Indochina Sails Co., Ltd. for its Indochine Premium cruise. These companies have earned strong recognition from both domestic and international visitors through their exceptional hospitality, high-quality services, stringent safety standards, and memorable travel experiences.

The fourth tourism brand from Quang Ninh province to be honored at the event was Dau Rong Resort of Lam Ngoc Duong Group JSC. The resort received the award for “Most beloved destination for young travelers” in recognition of its innovative resort model, which combines modern accommodation, entertainment facilities, and diverse experiences tailored to the preferences of young visitors.

The recognition of four tourism brands from Quang Ninh Province at the VITA Awards 2026 reflects the quality, competitiveness, and growing appeal of the province’s tourism products and services. The achievement also demonstrates the effectiveness of Quang Ninh’s strategy to develop tourism in a professional, high-quality, and sustainable manner through product diversification and enhanced visitor experiences, further reinforcing the province’s position as one of Vietnam’s leading tourism destinations.
In recent years, Quang Ninh has continuously invested in tourism infrastructure, expanded its high-end resort offerings, and developed premium tourism products and services to attract higher-spending visitors. Alongside improving service quality, tourism enterprises have also accelerated digital transformation, promoted green and sustainable tourism, and strengthened the growth of internationally recognized tourism brands.
