As of the end of April 2025, Quang Ninh had welcomed nearly 7.6 million visitors, marking a 7% increase compared to the same period last year. In which international arrivals were estimated at 1.57 million, while the number of overnight stays reached approximately 1.9 million. Total tourism revenue was estimated at VND 18,310 billion, up 26% compared to the same period in 2024.

In April, the province welcomed about 1.9 million visitors, including 390,000 international tourists. Tourism revenue of this month was estimated at VND 5,130 billion.

This impressive result outcome from a series of vibrant cultural and tourism activities commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Mining Region, the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, and the peak travel season during the April 30 – May 1 holiday. Many new products and exciting sports-entertainment events enriched visitor experiences and helped extend their stay.

Entering the second quarter of 2025, Quang Ninh’s tourism sector aims to welcome 5.3 million visitors and generate an estimated revenue of VND 14,720 billion. The province plans to host 55 major programs and events, including 25 international, national, and provincial-level promotion activities, maximizing its cultural, natural, and uniquely local strengths.
