According to the information of Quang Ninh Department of Sports, Culture and Tourism, in 9 days of the Tet holiday (from February 14 to 22), Quang Ninh province welcomed around 1.128.000 tourist arrivals, increased 16% over the same period of 2025, in which the international guests are 248.000. Total tourism revenue reached about 3.200 billion VND.

Quang Ninh’s well-known tourist attractions continued to be major draws for visitors, including:

  • Ha Long Bay welcomed nearly 80,000 visitors.
  • Sun World Ha Long Complex received around 13,000 visitors.
  • Quang Ninh Museum attracted approximately 8,000 visitors.
  • Cua Ong Temple welcomed about 80,000 visitors.
  • Cai Bau Pagoda received around 158,000 visitors.
  • Bach Dang Special National Historical Relic Site attracted approximately 104,000 visitors.
  • Tran Dynasty Historical Relic Site welcomed around 81,000 visitors.

Meanwhile, the number of international arrivals through Mong Cai International Border Gate was estimated at approximately 35,000.

In particular, Yen Tu monument relic area deployed promotion programs such as implementing regulations to free visiting tickets of the Yen Tu monument relic area; free parking fees at Ha Kieu bus station; free insurance for all visitors to the Yen Tu Complex of Monuments and Landscapes, while an AI-powered automatic visitor recognition system was installed to monitor entries and exits at the site. As a result, the complex attracted approximately 171,000 visitors, representing a 2.2-fold increase compared to the same period in 2025.
