In the first nine months of 2026, Quang Ninh’s tourism sector recorded strong growth. Specifically, visitor arrivals reached approximately 18.8 million, including 4.21 million international visitors and around 7.3 million overnight stays. Total tourism revenue was estimated at roughly 56,400 billion VND.

This breakthrough reflects the synchronized implementation of comprehensive tourism development measures. Since the beginning of the year, a series of large-scale cultural and sporting events and festivals have been successfully organized, attracting large crowds of both domestic and international visitors.

In addition, tourism stimulus programs, trade promotion, and marketing campaigns have been continually refreshed in both form and scale. Seamless transport connectivity, upgraded service quality, and the rollout of diverse experiential products have contributed to extending visitors’ length of stay and increasing tourist spending.
Entering the fourth quarter of 2026, Quang Ninh’s tourism sector continues to leverage its competitive autumn–winter offerings, including cultural and spiritual tourism, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), wellness retreats, and cross-border tourism. At the same time, the province is proactively strengthening partnerships with international travel agencies and tour operators to ensure a stable influx of visitors, aiming to meet and exceed all targets set for 2026.
