Quang Ninh is stepping into the rush of summer tourism with a lot of distinguished travel programs and events. Therefore, a sequence of stimulating activities and tourism promotion strategies are deployed to enhance the competitive ability and fascinate tourists.

In the middle of April, 2025, a fam trip “Ha Long – Cultural journey, heritage and renewal” was held with the participation of around 200 delegates from travel agencies and businesses, along with KOLs on North Vietnam’s social media. They surveyed new cruises, hotels, and tourism services of Ha Long. “Quang Ninh is making great efforts to organize a wide range of exciting tourism events, not only in the summer but throughout all four seasons of the year, creating diverse and engaging experiences for visitors. This also presents a valuable opportunity for travel agencies, both within and outside the province, to develop unique and appealing tour packages. This year, a fam trip program is being organized to bring travel companies to Quang Ninh, allowing them to connect with local tourism enterprises and explore the province’s fresh tourism offerings so they can promptly introduce them to travelers.” Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu, General Director of Vitamin event and tourism company said.
Before then, there were many fam trip delegations arriving in some localities to research new tourism products which took into operation. Potential travel products expect to attract a large number of travellers such as The forest trekking route and local homestays in Binh Lieu District, luxury hotels, the Bai Tu Long Bay tour route in Van Don District, and the Tran Island tour route in Co To District…
In addition, Quang Ninh also organized a series of highlighted events and caught the attention of visitors to define its summer tourism brand this year. One of the typical events is a music show “Sky Wave Ha Long” that took place at Sun Carnival square on 12th April, bearing a vibrant and emotional light, sound and music party for roughly 10.000 people. Along with Vietnamese famous artists like Isaac, Hoàng Dũng, Orange, the man who received the greatest careness of everyone was Son Tung MTP, considered as the best singer in Vietnam currently.

In 2025, Quang Ninh Province plans to organize 170 cultural, sports, and tourism programs and events. From April to September 2025, the province will host a series of major events—some for the first time—such as the “Art for Climate” program, an EDM music festival, and the International Hot Air Balloon Festival.
Quang Ninh will also carry out numerous promotional activities targeting key traditional international markets such as South Korea, China, Japan, and Taiwan (China), as well as potential markets like India, Australia, and Europe. Additionally, the province will participate in tourism fairs and festivals held across various provinces and cities nationwide.
To keep up with the digital transform trend, Quang Ninh tourism also mounted its promotion activities on the digital foundations. In particular, Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism and Ha Long city Tourism Association cooperated to launch a website amazinghalong.vn and Food Tour Quang Ninh tiktok channel. Website amazinghalong.vn is the first website of Quang Ninh that attached the digital travel map, allowing travellers to easily find amusing, resort points and discover themselves here. It also possesses modern digital technologies like virtual reality images to help visitors explore detailed information and visuals, optimizing their travel itineraries in Quang Ninh. The website is directly linked to the TikTok channel “Food Tour Quang Ninh,” which introduces tourists to local restaurants, eateries, and regional specialties.
With the diversification of destinations and experiences, entertainment and the strong pushing of tourism promotion, Quang Ninh strives to complete its goal welcoming 20 million tourists, in which there will be about 4.5 million international guests in 2025.
