In the framework of activities of the early Spring meeting 2025 and the 16th conference of Joint Working Committee that held in Quang Ninh, a seminar of the tourism cooperation of Quang Ninh Tourism Department (Vietnam) and Chongzuo city, Zhuang ethnic autonomous area (Guangxi, China) took place on 21st February in Ha Long city.

At the talk, Ms. Nguyen Huyen Anh, Director of Quang Ninh Tourism Department launched Quang Ninh’s potential and travel-developed advantages with its popular tourism resource, beautiful nature and characteristic-rich culture. Both sides also have many joint characters, especially possessing world heritage. Sharing experience of preserving, bringing into play values and researching connecting heritage tourism routes of Ha Long Bay (Quang Ninh) and fresco on Mount Hua rock (Chongzuo city, China) will be expected to create significant effects for growing the tourism of both locals.

Quang Ninh province is willing to enhance its collaboration in media, tourism promotion, enterprise linking to build additional products and exploit the 2-way tourist market. In addition, using the advantage of Hoanh Mo (Vietnam) – Dong Trung (China) border gate including the gate of Bac Phong Sinh (Vietnam) – Ly Hoa (China) that has been published. Both sides stimulate their cooperation of border localities, as well as goods import and export, immigration, tourist-exploited activities, striving to reach 500.000 guest arrivals in 2025.

The seminar aims at concretizing discussed documents between leaders of Quang Ninh province and Zhuang  ethnic autonomous area (Guangxi, China) on more enhancing exchange and cooperation relationship into many fields, in which developing border tourism.
