On 16th August, 2025, Nhan Dan Newspapers in coordination with the Police Ministry will launch a nationwide walking program named “Walk with Vietnam” in celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day, and the Traditional Day of the People’s Public Security Force. The is an unprecedented large-scale community activity, taking place simultaneously in 34 provinces and cities with 3,321 communes, wards, and special administrative regions in Vietnam.
In Quang Ninh, the provincial event will be hosted from 6:00 AM to 7:30 AM at 30-10 square (Ha Long ward), expected to attract 5,000–6,000 participants, including officials, armed forces, students, and businesses. The 2.5 km route will start from 30-10 square, follow Tran Quoc Nghien street, and end at the Royal hotel (Hon Gai Beach).
The activity not only enhances mentality and physicality, but also highly pushes law propaganda, defending criminals and bringing into play a movement “Every people safe Nation’s security”
Through the “Love Vietnam” project, the program showcases the beauty of the country and its people to international friends, promotes smart travel experiences with an NFC check-in system at over 200 destinations, and contributes to promoting a modern, friendly, and distinctive national tourism brand.
