On 18th December, Quang Ninh province in accordance with Bac Ninh province and Hai Phong city organized the inauguration ceremony of Yen Tu Festival named “Heritage journey – quintessence of the world” at Yen Tu relic and monument area (Yen Tu ward). This is an event opening a sequence of activities celebrating the 717th anniversary of the Nirvana of King-Monk Tran Nhan Tong, while also welcoming a ceremony to receive UNESCO recognition for the Yen Tu – Vinh Nghiem – Con Son, Kiep Bac relic and scenic Complex.

The typical cultural and travel event will take place on 18th to 22th December, 2025 (open from 8AM to 10PM everyday) with a lot of attractive programs. Locals and visitors are able to attend significant activities such as OCOP Fair & Food Festival – Yen Tu 2025 (Nuong village),Legacy Film Week (Dien Hong ballroom), Exhibition showcasing achievements titled ‘Millennial Heritage of Yen Tu – Vinh Nghiem – Con Son, Kiep Bac’, along with art performances, cultural exchanges, folk games, and the cycling race “Journey to Yen Tu” created a vibrant festival atmosphere rich in cultural identity.

The Yen Tu Festival ‘Heritage Journey – Quintessence of the World’ promotes the sacred land of Yen Tu, honors traditional values and showcases Vietnam as a safe, friendly and culturally rich destination, while advancing sustainable tourism and heritage-based economic development.
