On 25th May to 28th May, Yen Tu monument relic area (Uong Bi city, Quang Ninh province) welcomed thousands of buddhists, locals and visitors to pay homage with the Budda’s Sarira – The sacred national treasure of India enshrined at Truc Lam Palace.

The homage ceremony of the Buddha’s Sarira took place from 25th May to 28th May. At 8:30PM, 27th May the Organizing Committee will host a Lantern Ceremony – Praying for National Peace and People’s Well-being will be held at Truc Lam Palace. On May 28, a Gratitude Ceremony and the procession of the Buddha’s relic onto the vehicle heading to Chuong Pagoda (Hung Yen Province) will take place.

To ensure the best experience for the event, the Organizing Committee has installed LED screens in central areas of the heritage site, allowing people to easily follow and venerate the relic. Security, order, and traffic safety have been maximally ensured, with enthusiastic and thoughtful support from participating units and volunteers.

Security maximumly guaranteed as safe as possible for people who arrived to pay homage.

This is the first time the Buddha’s relic has been enshrined in Quang Ninh, marking a significant spiritual event. The occasion not only reflects deep faith in the Buddha’s teachings of compassion and enlightenment but also helps spread a message of peace and kindness to the community.
