On April 20, a cruise route connecting Ha Long Bay (Quang Ninh) and Lan Ha Bay (Hai Phong) was officially launched, marking a unique journey between two world heritage sites.

According to the cooperation agreement signed on April 1, 2026, the relevant authorities will approve cruise operations for four routes: Ha Long Bay 3 – Lan Ha Bay; Ha Long Bay 4 – Lan Ha Bay; Ha Long Bay 5 – Lan Ha Bay; and Ha Long Bay 6 – Lan Ha Bay. All of these are overnight cruise itineraries, allowing visitors ample time to fully experience and explore the beauty of the renowned bays of Ha Long (Quang Ninh Province) and Lan Ha (Hai Phong City).

On April 20, two cruises operated by Bhaya Cruise Co., Ltd. and Asia High-Class Cruise Cooperation JSC departed from Ha Long International Cruise Port and Tuan Chau International Passenger Port, carrying tourists on the Ha Long Bay – Lan Ha Bay route.

Each vessel accommodated around 40 passengers, most of whom were from Taiwan, South Korea, the United States, and India. As planned, the two operators will run this route on a fixed daily schedule, helping to establish a stable and sustainable inter-regional tourism product.

Au Co 1 Cruise, operated by Bhaya Cruise Co., Ltd., will take visitors on the Ha Long Bay Route 3 – Lan Ha Bay itinerary as follows: Ha Long Bay (mainland ports and harbors, Cua Van Floating Cultural Center, Tien Ong cave, Ba Ham lake, Ba Men temple, Ang Du, Kim Quy cave) – Lan Ha Bay (Tra Bau, Bright cave, Dark cave, Ba Trai Dao beach, Quai To, Viet Hai Entrance, Turtle Islet, Cai Beo Floating Village – Beo Pier).

Ambassador Signature Cruise, operated by Asia High-Class Cruise Group JSC, will take visitors on the Ha Long Bay Route 6 – Lan Ha Bay itinerary as follows: Ha Long Bay (mainland ports and harbors, Elephant Rock, Ba Cua Lagoon, Tung Lam Island, Cap Bai Islet) – Lan Ha Bay (Gia Luan, Tra Bau Area, Ong Cam, Bright cave, Dark cave, Ba Trai Dao beach, Quai To).
