On 23rd to 26th July, 2025, Quang Ninh tourism’s delegation led by Mr. Ninh Van Thuong, Deputy Director of Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism organized the Quang Ninh travel promotion and marketing program in Korea. As part of the business trip, on July 25, 2025, a tourism promotion program titled “Shape of Quang Ninh” was held at The Shila Seoul Hotel. The event featured representatives from the Embassy of Vietnam in South Korea and 150 delegates, including leaders of travel businesses and media agencies in South Korea.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Ninh Van Thuong, Deputy Director of Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism insisted that Quang Ninh always sees Korea as a strategic international market, with the number of tourists gradually increasing by years. The event held in Seoul affirms a strong commitment of Quang Ninh province to broad cooperation and create the best conditions for Korean businesses to invest and bear their visitors to Quang Ninh.

He also emphasized that Quang Ninh constantly innovates and diversifies its tourism products to suit the preferences of the South Korean market, such as: premium island and beach resorts, golf tourism, local cultural experiences, wellness and beauty care. At the same time, the province continues to invest in high-quality, synchronized tourism infrastructure and services. Quang Ninh places a strong focus on developing tourism in a sustainable, green, and smart direction, closely linked to heritage preservation and local cultural conservation.
Mr. Pham Khac Tuyen, Commercial Counselor of the Embassy of Vietnam in South Korea, highly appreciated the efforts of Quang Ninh province and regarded the “Shape of Quang Ninh” program as a symbol of dynamism, creativity, and strong commitment to international integration. “Quang Ninh possesses outstanding advantages, from the natural wonder of Ha Long Bay and modern tourism infrastructure to a friendly and professional workforce. These are ideal conditions for South Korean businesses to cooperate and effectively tap into in the near future.” – He said.

At the event, many new tourism products tailored specifically for South Korean visitors were introduced, such as: Heritage-connecting tours linking Ha Long Bay – Yen Tu – Bai Tu Long,luxury experiences on 5-star cruises, wellness and beauty care tourism programs, golf tourism, shopping experiences at Quang Ninh’s top commercial centers, and more.

A distinguished point of the event is the Business to Business (B2B) activity between Quang Ninh’s service and tourism enterprises and Korean travel agencies. Both sides exchanged information, looking for additional partners, launching tours and building cooperative plans.

In conclusion, the program is a crucial activity in the succession of the provincial tourism growth plan, as well as contributing to implement the goal of mounting GRDP and enhancing Quang Ninh travel’s position internationally. This is also an opportunity to establish long-term cooperative relationships, aiming to strongly attract South Korean tourists to Quang Ninh – a heritage land and one of Vietnam’s most attractive and safe travel destinations.
