Over 6 months of 2025, Quang Ninh tourism welcomed 12.1 tourist arrivals, reaching 116% over the same period of 2024 and 112% compared with the initial ramped-up scenario. Domestic visitors are 9.8 million people and international travellers are 2.3 million, for which stayed guests are around 3.7 tourist arrivals. The total tourism revenue is about 29.140 billion VND, up 131% over the same time last year and 107% with the increased plan.

Besides, tourism promotion activities focus on big economic groups of textile and garment, petroleum, electricity, mining, and travel businesses from both the northern and southern regions. At the same time, a series of working sessions will be held with travel business groups from key tourism markets such as China, South Korea, Taiwan, and Europe-America; along with the official launch of Quang Ninh’s Autumn–Winter 2025 Tourism Promotion Program, and efforts to attract cruise tourists from China.
