In the first two months of 2026, Quang Ninh welcomed approximately 4.1 million tourist arrivals, marking an 11.4% increase compared to the same period in 2025. Among them were around 900,000 international visitors and 950,000 accommodation guests. Total tourism revenue exceeded VND 10.375 trillion, up 25% year-on-year.

In February 2026, Quang Ninh welcomed about 2.55 million visitors, up 3% year-on-year. International arrivals reached 450,000, in which overnight guests were. Tourism revenue totaled VND 6,375 billion, highlighting the destination’s strong appeal in the early-year peak season.

Many destinations marked a remarkable rise, for which Yen Tu complex of relics and monuments welcomes roughly 171.000 tourist arrivals, doubling compared to the 2025 Tet holiday.

To draw visitors in the rush time, Quang Ninh hosted a series of significant events, which created additional highlights for the spring here. The activities such as book and magazine exhibition, a Spring OCOP fair 2026; a spring artistic performance, sport contests and folk games… contributed to make a vibrant festive atmosphere in the province. 

A distinguished highlight was the event named the light technology and flower avenue with theme “Quang Ninh – heritage spring – digital wonder”, which took place from February 15 to 22. It attracted approximately 100.000 participants, with the activities performed circus, music, sports competition, which bear new experience spaces for residents and visitors.

The positive results achieved from the very beginning of the year demonstrate the effectiveness of strategies to renew tourism products, enhance service quality, and strengthen destination promotion. These serve as a vital foundation for Quang Ninh to continue accelerating in 2026, striving toward sustainable, professional, and deeply integrated tourism development.
