In the 4th quarter of 2025, Yen Tu ward is expected to hold the festival “Yen Tu – The Meditative Hues of Autumn” with many successions of interesting and joyful culture, sport and tourism events. In addition, organizing the festival is a suitable occasion to preserve, bring into play and spread the values of Yen Tu world heritage.

The festival will be held in the last days of September with special art programs. Before then, from 15th July to the early September, the other activities are going to be organized to welcome the party congresses at all levels and the recognition of the Yen Tu – Vinh Nghiêm – Con Son, Kiep Bac relic and scenic complex as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage  include: launching of a logo design contest of the ward, an opening ceremony of Khe Song – Thac Bac tourist zone, Yen Tu Ultra Trail “Discover heritage – Spread quintessence “ running competition…

In the time between September and December, the attractive activities of the festival will take place such as “Yen Tu Autumn” photo contest, displaying art works of Yen Tu, performing poetic and music of Yen Tu, a lantern-making contest, traditional art performances of the Dao Thanh Y ethnic group, campfire exchanges, and the floating of flower lanterns. Notably, the “Yen Tu Heritage – Touch the Heritage Land“ run is scheduled to take place on November 15–16. The event is expected to attract thousands of athletes to participate and experience various activities at Yen Tu.

Otherwise, participants of the festival will be attending a lot of unique programs under the foot of Yen Tu mountain like: A tour experienced “Sunrise on the Dong pagoda peak”, “The journey following Tran Nhan Tong King Buddha”, a music show “Vietnam cultural quinsentence”… Along with that, visitors are going to enjoy horse riding, shooting plastic bullets; archery; taking part in traditional folk games, visiting and experiencing the Yen Tu countryside market and vegetarian cuisine…

The festival contributes to diversify the Yen Tu relic’s culture – spirit product and leverage the values of Truc Lam meditation mind associated with the sustainable development of Yen Tu monument complex. In conclusion, it aims to conserve the Yen Tu world culture heritage and stimulate local tourism.
